The Parish of Lane End is a great place to live!
Set high in The Chilterns it is a cluster of five “ Ends “- Bolter, Cadmore, Lane, Moor and Wheeler. Each has a distinctive character and heritage.
It is a diverse but coherent parish linked not just by road but by a myriad of footpaths, a sense of belonging and a thousand years of history.
It is a vibrant community full of enterprise and endeavour.
It would be hard to find a better place in which to work, rest and play.

Update on the Sale of the Chalky Field site.

Lane End Parish Council has decided to sell the Chalky Field site and use the proceeds to benefit the community.

Contracts have been exchanged with a developer, but completion of the sale is subject to receipt of a satisfactory planning consent for housing development. The planning process is proving to be slower than originally thought. Currently there are no further updates.

When the timeline becomes clearer, we will hold a consultation with the Parish. We will ask the community to submit their ideas and proposals. We will also advise of the Parish Councils recommended suggestions.

We will endeavour to keep the community up to date via the Parish Councils Facebook page, noticeboards, website and Clarion.

The Parish Councils contact details are as follows: email via the Contact Form

Telephone: 01494 437111

Address: PO Box 1616, High Wycombe, HP12 9FS.
